1. What is a Resiliency Circle?
Since it is an experiential work, it is difficult to explain it with words. What we can say is that it is surprisingly transformative in a subtle way.
– A Resiliency Circle is a nervous system regulation group-work with a Polyvagal perspective.
– A Resiliency Circle is a space to practice fully embodying yourself in relationships.”
– A Resiliency Circle is a powerful place of exploration, an invitation to step into the here and now with your full self, in a container of safety.
Together with about 6 to 10 other individuals, you will embark on a journey toward greater ease in your relationships with yourself and others, increasing capacity to handle challenges, and most of all, a new sense of embodied enjoyment in being with others.
Stephanie and Alper will facilitate a compassionate and harmonizing group space, allowing all parts of everyone to be present.
The purpose of an RC is primarily for individuals to develop relational capacities for more meaningful relationships and to more usefully experience a palpable and embodied sense of belonging in daily life relationships.
This delicate work uses highly calibrated skills in Polyvagal Theory, positive psychology, neurosciences, allowing for safe and effective integration into daily life.
Indeed, “Change” will slide into your life smoothly, to surprise you when you respond to Life’s events in a different way.

2. What will happen during an RC?
After a short introduction from the facilitators, group members are invited to share freely whatever is on their minds/hearts, and there begins the free association conversation and spontaneous sharing.
Each person manifests themselves differently, and the RC enables group members to embody a sense of belonging by appreciating the diversity of life experiences and points of view.

Finally, as the group builds in its quality of compassion, mature relating, authenticity, and enjoyment, it becomes a womb-like experience that supports deep nervous system regulation for all members.

Pre-RC Interview
A pre-interview of 20 to 30 minutes will be conducted with candidates and the 2 facilitators before their participation is confirmed.
The Pre-RC Interview is an opportunity to get to know you better and ensure that the Resiliency Circle is a good fit for your needs and goals. During this conversation, we will discuss the purpose of the circle, your relational goals, and how the group process can support you. It is also a chance to address any questions or concerns you may have, while clarifying the guidelines and expectations for the sessions. This ensures that we create a safe, supportive, and effective group environment for everyone.
